Survey results: “What’s the biggest benefit of finding travel buddies?“

In July, we conducted a survey among users of our Telegram channel to determine the main value of finding a travel companion. Over 1,000 users participated in the survey, choosing from the following options:

• Saving costs
  
• Feeling safer with a companion
  
• Meeting like-minded people
  
• Finding a romantic partner
  

Each aspect proved to be quite significant, with all options receiving more than 20% of the votes. The most popular response was meeting like-minded people, which was chosen by 43% of our users. Coming in second was saving costs on accommodation and car rentals, deemed important by 38% of respondents.

Romantic connections also turned out to be fairly popular, with 34% of the community expressing interest in this option. Additionally, 22% of users believe that having a travel companion makes their trips safer.

The survey results clearly highlight how versatile and beneficial finding travel buddy can be. We sincerely hope that everyone on Mahnem finds exactly what they’re looking for!
